I think they may already be Diptac compliant & could go beyond 2014 as they have built in wheelchair ramps, ultimately they are heavy duty/full size single deckers, so give a much better ride quality than a Dart

Yea couldnt agree more. ARRIVA seem to think darts are suitable for long distance big bus routes and they totally arent! Pre 51/2 plate MPDs are much noisier than the longer SLF version. Horrendously noisy

Has anyone else noticed the replacement in-house headlights on the B10BLEs. They all have them, apart from 'W109EWU'

I think they may have been refurbished at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn? whilst allocated to Yorkshire?

I'd be asking for a discount then because those headlights look bloody awful.

Weren't the Solos at wednesfield meant to be withdrawn anyway, replacing them with MPDs regardless of the source would be a notch up in the short term as the ex Midland Solos look shabby

I thought some of the better ( if there are any) solos were going to.be resprayed, say anything from y reg up? Id imaginr the marshall darts and p942 ems would be on the hit list.
