The WN 27/27A has become very exciting of late with chances of any WN bus but a Hybrid really.
In just the last week or so there's been Tridents, Spectras, B6's, B7's, Excels and Mercs, thats 6 different vehicle types, can't think of any other route that sees such a variety! Can anyone else?

At WN 11/32/33 get the biggest variety (Tridents, Spectras, Mercs,Excels, B6's, B7RLE's) and the 59 has been getting a fair few types aswell! Yesterday on the 59 there was a Excel (Morning peak), Tridents,Spectras, B5LH and a B7RLE (Afternoon Peak)

Why is it that WN's hybrids are showing up all over the place when BC's hybrids rarely ever stray from the 22/23/24?

Ashley 4569

It may be because BC consider most of their other routes as too rough for a nearly new bus or that those other routes are too demanding in terms of driving style dependant on things like whether a route has dual carridgeways for example.

Changing the subject and still slightly off topic but does anybody know which PB B7 ALXs are in the sutton area today?

The only other WN route getting hybrids on a daily basis is the 59.

Hang on thats a route swap! 5510 was on the 59 yesterday and looking at the drivers running board he still had a journey left to Ashmore Park!

Where the WN hybrids appear elsewhere it is ultra rare.

Correct buddy, the driver completed that trip then on arrival back 5510 was swapped onto 79!

Appeared on the 126 too don't forget. It just seems like they're not as strict with the allocation as BC are, I think its only the very few times that one appeared on the 97 not long after they first arrived that they've ever strayed off the 22/23/24 to my knowledge, but I might be wrong.

Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Driver03, You say it went onto the 79 at 18:05 but it was supposed to do a 59E journey to Ashmore Park departing at 1806.

They must of decided to put 5510 on the 79 instead of going back to the garage from ashmore park.

I wonder if they will put a E400H on the 59 soon?
