Oh Great my Stepmum might be coming back from Work that way to late to tell my dad as she would be in the Car Driving.

All reopened now Buses are back running down Walsall Road, apparently this was an incident that had happened been briefly resolved then happened again at 07:30 this morning

WB 48 and 49 were on diversion this morning due to a fallen tree in the winds blocking Lightwoods Hill. 1848 on the 49 managed to get itself completely stranded having diverted via Harborne Road, Abbey Road and Barclay Road as the end of Barclay Road was closed by both the fallen tree and a police crime scene incident which was cordoned off. There's no way it could do a three point turn - looking at bustimes the driver must have somehow reversed back as far as Upper St Mary's Road to get himself out.

Advance notice for Wolverhampton:

Darlington Street, Wolverhampton is scheduled to close from late January to late July 2025 for "public realm works". (Basically installing the cycle lane and other infrastructure). The section is between School Street and the Ring Road. As a result the following services will be diverted although details have not been made available yet:

NXWM & Let's Go 1 (both directions)
NXWM  (both directions)
NXWM 3/4  towards Chapel Ash only (inbound journeys don't use Darlington Street)
Arriva 9 towards Chapel Ash only
Diamond 63 towards Bradmore only.

Information on the roadworks is courtesy of Causeway.

They have already built a Cycle Lane that's the 1 doesn't go past the bus station anymore, I did hear how Wolverhampton Council basically wanted Lichfield Street and Queens Square to be a Cycle And Pedestrian area assumingly sending all the Buses up the front of Beaties to Darlington Street, but if there doing work here then maybe it all of that Street.

The 1 towards Tettenhall Wood still passes the bus station but the construction of the tram stops means its not practical to have a bus stop there.

As for Darlington Street, Lichfield Street (by the art gallery) and Queen Square, the plan as far as I know is to make the current one-way bus lane permanent with the current contraflow cycle lane seperated by a barrier of some sort although its not shown on the roadworks map for the next 12 months.

The 1 passes the Bus Station 1 way before the Tram the 1 could have still served Pipers Way before the One Way System, the nearest stop it could serve now the Tram Stop is outside is the Thearte, Not moaning as I don't mind the walk but it is annoying when you have gangs of Kids or people walking slow as you run around the corner on slippery Tiling in Trainers at least from the Police Station to the bus Station only to see either the 79 pulling out the bus station or just missing it because people wouldn't move out the way and you were unable to go in the road due to either Track works, Testing Trams or Cars coming. If it was by Spoons you probably would get that issue but there is more space to overtake and get past people who will not move and it is also the old route it used to take, it also would avoid confusion when two 1's turn up at the Police Station to Dudley and the Tettenhall one has no where to go as the other 1 could park behind the leading 1

Looks like major disruption for the X21/22 in 2025 if this is happening?
"In addition to this both services will use Bristol Road, Edgbaston Park Road, Pritchatts Road in both directions due to full closure of Edgbaston Park Road from January 6th to March 25th".

The closure on one network seems to be listed for July though so maybe postponed?

Not sure if that's good or bad to be honest. What is Edgbaston Park Road being closed for though?

The closure is due to gas mains replacement work.

Major disruption that will probably improve the reliability of those 2 routes for the duration of the work.
