Something's happened in Willenhall as Walsall Street/Road is closed so the 529 I was on went down Rose Hill onto Bilston Lane and Onto Clarkes Lane to then turn back on to it's normal route by Willenhall Maccies. Seems to be both directions as another 529 heading the opposite way passed us on the diversion

Missed that. (As usual was waiting for the 326, but whatever the incident was, must have happened past Middlepiece Way!)

QuoteApparently buses will be going "the wrong way" along Castle Street in Dudley on July 12 due to a major event blocking half the temporary bus stands in Dudley (a 1 day event)
Further to this, the Council have announced a list of road closures in Dudley on the 12th for the Grand Prix (cycling, not F1 unfortunately), and I feel sorry for the NX, Banga and Diamond drivers working in Dudley... especially as Sofi's will be busy so the PN drivers won't be able to get their chips :-(

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

I assume the 24 has been On Diversion today due to the fatal crash on West Boulevard

I don't think it would have been. It was the 'new' section of West Boulevard that was closed, from the Quinton Road West island down to Barnes Hill, so the 24 should still have been able to turn around at the normal terminus island.

Why? The 24 doesn't serve that part of West Boulevard...

No, but looks like a bus which was interworking between the 23/24 (or running dead) got 'stuck'.

39 (Kev's) had to terminate on at the Stonebrook Way (ex Stonehouse Lane) bus stop.
23 - Bartley Green
76 - Northfield
X20 - Birmingham Via Longbridge, Northfield & QE Hospital / University

Due to a nasty RTC last night on West Bromwich road in delves, 4 and 4M was diverting some went different ways due to police not making their mind up where they wanted to close the road, at one point the police closed the road right above tame bridge rail station when was not needed as the crash was not blocking the junction to Greenside way where buses was going untill they closed it at tame bridge for a short time meaning 1859 had to go on a longer diversion.

Buses on diversion in the Pelsall area, due to the carnival today.

Nx basically diverting via Mouse Hill & Hall Lane 'around the outside' of Pelsall, with, according to Bustimes, the 9 looping the Trevor Road area first.

(Walsall CT, due to the size of their vehicles, able to dig into Pelsall more, but missing out Ryders Hayes & appear to be using some back streets to reach Hall Lane.)

Of course, if there's anyone on the ground, who's able to confirm or deny.......

Diversion on Wa 29, due to an 'incident' on Walker Road.

Different one to normal, with NLR from Walsall via Coalpool, serving the FULL length of Harden Road to Leamore, then right at the lights, right again at Blakenall Lane, and entering Blakenall that way.

(I'm surprised Blakenall Lane has never been used in normal service anyway!)

As stated within the link, 29 diversion will continue tomorrow.
