The 4/H/M never sees a summer timetable and rarely has any amendments to it's timetable although some of it Sunday 4M journeys quite often seem to be running late so may be extra time allowed to reach both Halesowen and Merry Hill.

It used to, but last year I seem to remember it started from June. It probably does get a bit quieter then with universities, sixth forms, colleges & year 11's finishing school, but not to the same extent as the main six weeks.

It was explained in another post I think, VOSA registrations don't regularly update the stopping places hence why the 55/55A are still put down as Lower Bull St. and the 6 as Corporation St.

You're probably right actually, another Stourbridge to Merry Hill route would seem excessive. Most likely (hopefully!) an error, like the 126 serving Colmore Row

From a Coventry point-of-view, there appears to be a new 27 City - Toll Bar End - current service 3A [and 7 in peak periods] covers this area. Although Cov route 7 (along with a number of others) is seeing its route and timetable amended, maybe those two listings are connected? There was for some time a '27 City - Toll Bar End' service, operating around the 1978/79 to 1986/87 period in conjunction with similar services 37/47/57 to various industrial estates in and around the A45 & Baginton area. Unless this is just a re-hash of a very old listing?

They better not touch the Stickley extension again, can you remember the fuss last time and then the campaigns to get it re-instated! The local councillors will go mad again!

Yet the 257 in my opinion provides adequate cover and it seems a bit excessive having a route from Gornal up into Stickley every 15 minuted

I can't say too much but the amendment is, apparently, due to the Hill Street opening of New St station, route to be amended to cut lost mileage due to late running through that area.

I'm told we're loosing one running board off the 47, I dare say a late afternoon one (-77?) Would this constitute a cancellation shown by VOSA?
