How did you find the site/forum?

Just wondering if anyone remembers how and when they first found this site or the forum?

For me, it was back in 2009 when I wanted to find out more about the buses I used to get on my school route. I remember taking the registration plate of one, typing it in on Google and its photo on the old version of this site came up.

I used to comment on the fotopic site, before it was deleted, I used Google to find this. Glad I did. It's a great source for information

I found Tony's Original Website when i was younger but it went off and thats when i found the current site.

I followed Tonys original fotopic site, and am a member of the WM Buses yahoo group, so knew of the development of this new site and later the forum.

The old feature of being able to comment on pictures was quite a novel idea I thought. On the subject, I remember on the old fotopic site there used to be tonnes of Pete's travel and birmingham coach pictures-have these been lost due to the collapse of fotopic or do you still have them Tony. I'm not putting pressure on you to upload them or anything-just interested as they were good and at the time I didn't take bus pictures.

Thanks thats great-glad you haven't lost any!! And yes, I have noticed that current operators stuff is getting updated making the site even better

I also miss the ability to comment on individual photos/pages, it would be better than having to start up a thread in the forum for each vehicle you wanted to talk about :)

I may well be going on loan to Sipson Road depot from the middle of next week, I may not be able to do so many updates while down there so there may be a bit of a slack in bot old and new addition for a few weeks

Yeah Google told me it's the National Express coaches depot at Heathrow

Obviously a bit different to what Tony is used to - but there is also a shortage of coach drivers down there at the moment.
