With all the interworkings on Sundays of the Birmingham to Walsall routes at Walsall, there is a 51 branded Enviro400 (think it was 4862) on the 934 tonight

I'm not in Solihull regularly any more, but what type of bus is usually on the S1? I'm guessing its usually either an Omnilink or Eclipse 2.

Never go to Solihull but from looking at Lots of Photos and what i see on the forum yes it is usually Omnilinks and B7RLE's


Do Presidents/Geminis ever get used on the S1? If so how usual or unusual is it?

Presidents and Geminis have appeared on the S1 before (as well as B6LEs, B10Ls and Metrobuses, when AG had them), the route only uses one bus, so I guess its whatever is next in line to go out in the morning that ends up on it.

When I last regularly visited Solihull (when I used to work in Shirley), I'd usually see a B10L on the S1, so I naturally assumed it would be an Eclipse 2 B7RLE that would replace it when the B10Ls were withdrawn.

Yes, it is usually a B7RLE, and sometimes an OmniLink. I have not seen a decker on there for a while now
