There all a bit scruffy this year aren't they! Not the best image to present to those using the service who don't usually use the bus the rest of the year, a contrast to all the 61 plate Enviros from last year

Coming back from V festival it actually makes sense, why put a nice clean(ish) new(ish) bus on a service designed purely to take people back from a muddy music festival when you have buses that have been used on the 14 at your disposal?

On the contarary they have put many recently refurbed WN tridents on for the V festival. Evidence here : http://www.flickr.com/photos/retroscania/9527249202/in/photostream Yes there are some old boots on there but I was surprised how many 'Nice' buses have been used. I guess although the mud people from all over the UK will come and I think it is good that NX have put some of their 'Nicer' buses on giving the company a good image and something maybe we can be a wee bit proud of for once  :). Furthermore all these people using the shuttle buses 'Have to pay' so they deserve a decent bus so to be honest I think NX have hit a happy medium here
One thing that has suprised me however is that normally you see branded buses on the wrong route, single deckers on double deck routes etc but for V festival they have managed to find 20 odd 'Spare' buses from somewhere  :o :o :o

Just saw a 37 branded omnilink in Erdington on the 9676, no idea if it is normal or not in the evening but I don't recall seeing it before

Never seen a Omnilink on the 966 before. Usually President and Gemini operated isn't it?

Usually yeah, sure I've seen a B7RLE see recently, and of course it used to be run by B10s

There was a time a while back, I think just after Acocks Green took the 966 over from lea Hall, that the 966 had to be single deck operated due to overhanging trees after the route was changed. The trees were cut and the 966 reverted back to double deckers

I've seen 37 branded Omnilinks on 966 a couple of times.
This morning I saw a 37 branded Omnilink on the 71 in Lode Lane about 09:15.
Passed it on a roundabout which had tree in middle so couldn't get the fleet number!
