I've heard it's this weekend for the B7TL arrivals, but don't take it as gospel

Ross has posted Ensign Nov moves already, it seems only 4 are due at the moment:

Volvo B7TL's Y167 / 168 / 176 / 236 : Evergreen Coaches, Birmingham .

BN

Winston, where can I see the posts of what Ross has bought and sold?
Cheers

It's not more, it's the same ones people were discussing a month or so ago, apart from KEC1 and NS2 which never were TGB's

A red Volvo B7TL on the Hagley run this morning, did not catch the number, if it's still on this afternoon I will see if it's 176 or a new one

All the East Lancs Volvo Olympians have been returned to Ensign over the weekend, except R830 MFR which was hanging on in service on the HC2 this morning

R830 MFR's gearbox temperature got to almost 110 Celsius this morning, is this normal?

nitromatt1

I've seen at least 6 B7TLs out so far: Y167/168/176/178/197/236 NLK

The last EL Olympian (R830 MFR) should leave this weekend (next week at the latest). Apparently the drivers think the B7s are much worse than the Olympians and want the Olympians back. I am yet to ride one.

I would much have an Olympian over the B7TL's! :) You even said yourself to me Matt that the Olympians are Fast :)

So will the Hagley Services be fully B7TL operated Matt?

In theory yes, although a Royale Olympian and a Spectra have appeared this week, in place of B7TLs. I am actively trying to get them to switch the allocation to Spectras/Olympians as the B7TLs simply do not have enough seats

Are all the buses at Evergreen below capacity needed for the HC Services? Just to remind me what is the number of seats required on your school services? I'm sure you said it was 80 something but can't remember?

The East Lancs Olympians have 72 seats and there are people standing each journey. The B7TLs have little over 60.

Evergreen initially promised us 85 seat buses, however the Spectras have 77 seats and the Royale Olympians have 81, either of these would do. Also, they both have many more downstairs seats which is important, as many kids would rather stand downstairs than go upstairs
