Anyone know if there is a model available of a Leyland Fleetline in West Midlands travel colours (the later blue/grey/red stripe livery) as would really like one? Always thought EFE would produce one but have never seen one.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Cheers.

Shame they don't do a 90s pack of a Metro, Fleetline, National and lynx! Now that would be something.

Was I imagining or isn't there a GM (Greater Mancs Buses) one from that era?

Anybody else disappointed with the new packaging and no certificates? I think the descriptions on the boxes made the model :(

Yeah I am, with the newest CMNL ones (with the brown generic boxes), you don't get the certificates with them. I have a number of those, Magicbus Manchester Trident, Arriva Merseyside Enviro400 and the open top Stagecoach Cumbria Trident are ones I can remember.

The only new Northcord Model I have at the minute is of the Stagecoach London OmniCity, and that has a certificate. Are the rest of the new Northcord ones supplied with certificates?
I know the later cmnl ones in the brown packaging you can't see the top half because it's covered by the box

I've got ukbus6034, 6035, 6039 and 6043 and none have certificates :(

Are they of limited production though?

Yes, it just says 1 of 504 on the plastic plinth

Theres a review of the mk2 b7rle model on there

Haha! I like the brand design of Line 33, not favourite route though. 😜 I was looking for a model of a B6 but it seemed they were discontinued. Was rather sad as I would love to have a TWM B6 model.

You know what model I'd like to see? The Enviro 200's, not on any particular route, but it would be nice to have had them made... Also, I can't wait to see the pre - production models of 4899 & 5401! - Definitely getting 5401, Service 24 is by far my favourite BC route... I might consider getting 4899, as it would be a take on the new bus liveries...

AMENDED MODEL DETAILS FROM CORGI
Corgi have today announced a change of details to a previously announced model as follows:
"there has been a slight amendment to the destination boards of OM46704A/B Wright Eclipse 2, National Express West Midlands.
OM46704A will read – 27 Wolverhampton via Gornal Wood
OM46704B will read – 27 Dudley via Gornal Wood"

A shame as I wanted the 126E one as well!  :(

Have a look at this. New Tooling for the Wright Eclipse Gemini 2:

That is impressive. A great improvement from the older Gemini 1 models. I will be certainty getting the Metroline model

I got the East Lothian Urban 2 model today, and that is a fantastic also, my first time seeing the new casting for real. It is a vast improvement from the Urban 1 models
