I was thinking, with the X1 being cancelled wouldn't it be a better idea to introduce an X59 service to run non stop from wolverhampton to bentley bridge as that's where most people in wolverhampton go.

SMK

Why would you need an express version of the 59?
It's not like it takes over an hour to get to Bentley Bridge from Wolves unlike the 81 or 255 to Merry Hill
We'll get rid of your bus to Wolves and replace it with one to Walsall instead.......... Oh the joy of a Network Review. -_-

No but the 59 does get full quite often so just 1 bus say every 20 mins would ease the amount of passengers standing up.

There are quite a lot of buses that go to Bentley Bridge already, and it's not that far from the City Centre
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
"Around the corner" routes: 21, 89
Local routes: 12/A, 48/A
Semi-local routes: 54, 80, 87

Most used routes in bold

In all the time I have done revenue checks on the 59 I have never had a completely full bus

You should've seen it this afternoon after the Wolves game, packed with multiple standees.

You mean they still have that many supporters down the Molineux?

They all got the same bus to make it look like there's more of them
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

My journey to school on the 59 was jammed packed with not much standing room either. There are a few journeys like this.

The worst thing is when there are single deckers allocated.

There is no need for an X59 as it doesn't take that long to get to wolverhampton (I use it everyday)
Plus it is has the most frequent frequency in wolverhampton (up to 5 minutes mon-sat and 9 minutes sundays with 12 minute frequency in the evening

Well i was on the same bus as matt (nitromatt1) on saturday and the 59 was packed and it was a trident.

A few months ago on a saturday when the wolves had played i had a B7RLE on the 59 and that was even worse.

Was it packed on the NXWM 59 when Diamond was on the route?
I've certainly noticed that I see more people waiting for the 59 at the stop on Queen Street than when Diamond were on the route.

No diamond were practically empty with every one using The NX 59.
