4869 301

4330 also on 301.

Are they a couple of Omnilinks down today at Walsall?

The omnilinks seem to get first priority on the 4/4H/4M which needs 21 buses? only 18 branded if there all out in service so always needs a few spares and the 4 never gets a double decker haven't seen one on since it transferred to Walsall.

Very rare that the 311/3 get a double decker either,. There a low bridge on the way back to depot and i think that at least the 311/3 are banned from Double Deckers.

They could run double deckers on the 4 & Dudley if the buses were sent via Rolling Mill Street, but I suppose there's bound to be one driver who will forget etc etc.

(Still about time we had a new open topper ! LOL)

West Brom could run double deckers on the 45 if they wanted, couldn't they?

Not sure where rolling mill street is but WB used to put double deckers on the 404 occasionally there's no low bridges on the service so would be fine. The lowest bridge I'm guessing would be sandwell and dudley rail bridge but theres no issue there.

Wish we had a total list of NXWM and the allocation for each, then we would know for certain what an unusual working would be.

We each know our individual areas, but if you go spotting out of that area, you get stuck on knowing what is unusual.
Maybe we should do a guide, one for each depo
.

yes, the problem is the route to depot. before now a 311 double decker has had its roof ripped off by a driver thinking he only had a single decker!
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

1886 was on the 4 not on the 301 where it normally is.

This issue has been addressed previously, see: http://wmbusphotos.com/forum/index.php?topic=1193

However the list is incomplete and in some cases outdated, would be great if someone could fill in/correct any of their local or familiar routes

I understood the PE Enviros are getting close to exceeding the milage allowance on the maintainence contract which is why they are to be swapped with older Enviros from PB / YW. So, as much I love to Enviros on the 120 why are they allowing them to clock up even more miles?

The 241 is all Enviro400 today: 4820 4829 and one other unidentified Enviro (it should come past my house again at 19:20 so I'll look for its number then) - here is 4820: http://www.flickr.com/photos/nitromatt1/8586604972/in/photostream

Especially on a Sunday when there's hardly anyone about! The Enviro's are needed on the 120/140 Mon-Fri, not weekends, still hoping that when the swap occurs PE will benefit rather than just simply loose out by getting older buses
