Can't wait to see them sneak onto other routes like the 14 and 90 now and again :)

Are all the BC Enviro's just going to be standard seated? I would personally love NXWM to order some more dual purpose types, the high seated X51 Gemini's are the most comfortable buses I have ever been on and would really suit the 900

Really? You obviously never went on a timesaver metrobus then lol x51 seats are naff compared

Sadly you are quite correct on that one, though I do notice a preserved one in a yard in Tipton/Great bridge not far from Diamonds depot, any information on that? Does it ever see use on enthusiast days?

You find at some point they will as per most new buses. They sneak even onto rare workings of single decker routes at some garages (Including Wolverhampton Garage.).

So i would imagine the 14/60/90 (Maybe even the BC 59 and 97) will have them at some point :)

What buses they replacing at PB

Probably Older Enviros from the Sutton Lines onto other local PB routes with ALX400/Possibally Gemini (Geminis may transfer who knows?) to WB to replace Presidents?

Or to replace mercs on routes into brum or a few deckers on some other routes at west brom wouldnt go amiss eg on the 48

Personally, I would want these buses to run on the 24, being a new cleaner bus, and with the occasional one on the Hybrid Bus, it would perfectly suit it, especially with new modernised hybrid buses on the 22/23 and whatnot. It has seemed that buses running from stop SH1 (Colmore Row) has modernised more than the 24.

If not running on the 24, i would prefer:
60 or 957 - to use a branding

I think it would be massively unfair to give the 24 these new buses, seeing as the Harborne services already have the hybrids and B7RLE's while the East of Birmingham, and routes like the 45/47 and 61/63 have decrepid old Tridents.

Spare hybrids and refurbed buses is enough for the 24

Doubt they would last on the 24. I had an Enviro 400 hybrid months ago, half a dozen kids get on at Four Dwellings, get to Colmore Row and they get off, and I load up to go back to Woodgate Valley North. One passenger who gets on tells me she  can smell burning, so I go upstairs to investigate and find that these kids had set fire to newspapers on the shelf at the rear of the upper deck. I had a cold at the time so wouldn't of been able to smell anything.

I didn't think the 24 was generally too bad. Presumably no serious damage?

Will 4733 - 4737 and 4880 - 4884 be entering service this week. I know its been mentioned already somewhere probably but any info or sightings will be appreciated. Thanks

JackC

Don't see any reason for 4733-4737 not to be out tomorrow. Can't see much being need done to them bar programming the blinds and ticket machines for WA routes. 4880-4884 I'm less sure about but I think that they've had long enough to be prepared for service now?

John

Will let you know later if I see any out today, and post links to pics here
