I reckon they'll bung them on the 2/3, not that they're worthy of them. Presumably they'll lose 5 Tridents.

clue yw only have 25 e400s

So PE are getting the 25 YW Enviros for 30 PE Enviros, doesn't seem very fair.

As there still seem to be queries as to why these are going:

The reason for the swap is that 4800 - 4829 have some kind of Contract Maintenance cover with ADL, which presumably means that for a certain price all maintenance, parts etc are covered on this batch of vehicles. As part of the contract the vehicles were limited to doing a certain number of miles per year.

But it has been found that this batch are "doing too many miles" per year, so presumably NX are having to payout  extra on top of the originally agreed price. Therefore NX are transferring the vehicles in question to YW, where it must have been worked out that they will actually be able to operate less miles and will therefore be within the agreed Contract.

The reason I assumed that is simply because everyone is convinced there is "more to this than just mileage" so logically the fact YW would gain 5 buses suggests a second reason for the swap, maybe a 50 extension or frequency increase was on the cards but obviously not!

i give up 25 buses for 25 buses  plus 4 mercs from wb for 53/289 march 10th ans 2 mercs from wolves to replace our 2 burnt out ones 8)
