Are the ex Nottingham Tridents still at Wednesfield, haven't seen one for ages, unless they are being used on routes where my path doesn't cross them.

Yep both on the 10 still daily although one may sneak onto the 19.

Must have transferred from Thurmaston then

NXWM Spectra

Are we going to have to wait for them to fall apart before we get better buses?
Some are already in a state internally after spending 13 years in London. By better buses, I don't mean brand new, I just mean good condition mid life good looking vehicles that will perform and not break down daily.

Bob

Why they insist on putting deckers on a dead route is beyond me they could be better used on routes at other garages that actually carry a few passengers!  Ie the 74/75 at cannock or even the pye greens carry more than the bloody 19! Swap em for some darts at cannock. Its interesting that the best arriva can do decker wise is a model of similar age (db250) as nx are soon going to be withdrawing, and equally unreliable.  Says a lot really. The downstairs seating arrangement is appalling on them

Trident 4609

I think they should unbrand the E200's off the 9 and use them and a few refurbished Arriva Darts on the 19 and they would suit the route. Aa Bobsaid send them to Cannock possibly for the Staffords

Bob

Yea they have an aversion to operating deckers at cannock but will happily waste them on empty services on wednesfield and run knackered mpds on busy services at cannock. Good management/allocating not...

At least one was on the 10 route on Thursday

Thanks Tony and all you other Guys for sightings, my daily commute to Wolvo doesn't interact with route 10.

Service 19 is a new service which will require time to become established, and use of the extensively-refurbished double-deckers presented the strongest opportunity of providing an Arriva vehicle at the time, rather than a mix of everything else.

Just been on 4804, one of the latest additions...heavily refurbished? ?? Youre having a laugh surely? The brakes shriek, the bus vibrates and sounds absolutely shagged, floor is minging, complete with ripped bits, all theyve done is resprayed it and recovered the seats. Is this really the best they can do? Seriously?

Ck

Route 10 wolvo to Perron new timetable up for September showing early evening journeys and Sunday's wonder what Nx will do

Rode 4796 on 19 today, loadings were low as usual and bus was really rattly, kept making this beeping sound and didn't sound particularly healthy. Also the seats were too hot

Doesnt Wednesfield have enough Arriva livery buses to run a Sunday service yet?

(He says, after noticing a red Dart on the 8a!)

Bob
