Id say pretty unusual tho more frequent recently. Think Matt got a picture of an MPD on the 002 recently and there was a cadet on there not long ago but mostly the branded buses

20202 was on there a few weeks back, and Cadet 30216 (if I remember rightly?), but other than that I have not seen anything else (other than the odd unbranded Centro) on the 002 for a long time. I class anything other than Centros as rare, as they are usually very good at keeping all the 002-Centros on route.

The black country connection MCV's used to appear on the 002 from time to time, but there are 2 spare royale centro's daily and surely it would better to take a b7rle from the 4 than put a mpd on the 002. The 002 could ideally be double decker operated maybe using some of the your bus presidents parked up then move the 6 '002' centro's onto the 301 and the cadets from there onto the 4 and the 40/42/43. Yeah it's a good job it wasn't a warm day as the cadets struggle to last the day on the 4H and 4M duties the older single deck darts seem to cope better especially W335-7VGX of which seem quite reliable these days. V377/391SVV are usually on the 42/43 if your ever after capturing a pick of these two buses.

Hang on, I just got a flashback of seeing a Hybrid on the 002, but must've been a couple of years ago at least, now I think of it I used to see them quite regularly (living on the 002 route)!

It feels a long time ago to me! But then, my interest in buses had massively grown over the past year, so that would be perhaps while it feels longer. I definitely remember seeing Hybrids on the 002, I assume they would've been Versas? (I did not know many bus types back then)

Yeah it would have been a hybrid versa and they have appeared on most diamond service whilst at tividale.
