John re your 9 branded B7 on 20 it was changed over on 9s in the day and the 20 requires single deckers due to low bridge on 20E.
Single deckers used in am peak tend to get used to cover breakdowns.

All Bendibuses have been in use for the second running.
eight on 4 and two on 21.
6016 has lost most of its large 4 on the offside window behind the cab. A small pink bit remains on the panel. Presume window broken and replaced. One down fifteen to go!

21 - 4410 (4838 had minor prang on 21 and 4839 seems to be permanently under the weather).

I think that a lot of what's behind this might be that clearly these vehicles have a much better aesthetic than the 'old bangers' (i.e. every other DD vehicle in Coventry), so the travelling public will like them much more than the other vehicles here.
But a lot of this has to do with age, presentation, having a decent moquette et c. rather necessarily the model of bus per se.

That said, I think Enviros are awesome ... when they work.

1612 was on the 11 before breaking down in kenilworth this evening and was parked up at about 11:30 tonight with hazards on by abbey fields!
