4424 on 8, vice e400, 19.28 ex cov station.

This is a rostered evening peak ALX400 working introduced as an extra bus on route 8 to counteract late running at the last timetable change.
Usually an ALX400 but can be an 8 branded Enviro if one of them has been having attention during the daytime.
Starts at Cardinal Wiseman School about 15:30.

I've noticed route 20 branded Volvo's working the 18/18A over the last few days.
This morning I saw a Mercedes on the 8.
There seemed to be more Enviro's on the 13, just an observation.

Yes Ben there have been quite a few unusual workings last week.
12/11/13 - 20 branded 2167 was on 18/18A in morning peak with 8 branded 4893 ran all day on 18/18A the same day.
13/11/13 - 9 branded 2163 ran on the same 18/18A, then worked on 8/8A in the afternoon and evening.
15/11/13 - 21 branded 4837 ran on 2/3 replacing a Merc, also going to Allesley Park on the 23 as part of the same working..

You were lucky to see the 13/A working as only one appeared on same working on at least three days.

The 10 has been double decker operated for a while. It may be slightly unusual. as I find that most types of Coventry buses can turn up on any route

I think there's usually 1 or 2 Mercs a day on the 10

A Merc on the 10 is rare. I must admit I haven't seen that for a long time, although have seen a couple of urbans on it. Today 4413 was on the 21, 4837 and an unidentified 21 branded e400 were on the 11/12.

Route branded vehicles used on 11/12 peak workings this morning:

8 branded 4893 went to Leamington and back on 11.
9 branded 2163 did 7 from Brownshill Green, 19 to Westwood then 12 shorts.
20 branded 2170 did a couple of with flow journeys on the 12.

The evening 8 is Merc 1656 and Merc 1610 went to Leamington on 11.

As is usual nowadays Gemini's appeared on a range of routes, today on 4, 6/A, 7, 9S, 10, 12, 16/A, 18/A, 19 and 23!

Last time I was in Coventry, only 2 Geminis were actually on the 13, the rest were Tridents and B7TLs  ;D

At least 3 were on the 11/12s, and as you have mentioned, the rest were all over on the other Coventry services

Yes John it's varied with Gemini's on 2,3 and 5 last Saturday and recent appearances on the 21 and 42 only the 1 and 9/A don't get to see them as the 20/A/E can't as there is a low bridge on the 20E.

21 branded 4834 and 4841 on 11 to Leamington.
9 branded 2163 on daytime 13.
20 branded 2170 on daytime 10 working.
8 branded 4893 on daytime 6/A working.

Merc 1591 was put on 21 after morning peak too!!
