586 is now at WN as we know but 687 clinging on in service on the 28 just

What routes do the B6LEs at Wolverhampton stick to. I know the 26/62, 27 and 28 but are there other routes?  :)

I think that's it really. I thought the 27 was strictly Mercs and the odd decker?

I think the 27/A has a mix of B6LE, O405Ns and the occasional double. Not been from Wolverhampton way, I stand to be corrected if wrong!!

I'm long overdue a trip back to Wolverhampton so I want to be able to see quite a few B6LEs when I finally make it, in amongst another trip to Coventry and Leicester in the next few weeks ;)

The 25 regually sees B6's as well and the 82 and 59 (Peak running Board) sometimes

Thanks Nathan   :D

Me neither ;), I'm not really comfortable with WN allocations, I was just going by what I saw last time, which was a few weeks ago now
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters

Most used routes in bold

There was a B6 (600) on the 81 the other day too, but that's pretty unusual

The Real 4778

Heading over to the general area of Wolverhampton for a gig later, so I'll be interested to see the curious local delicacies like the Spectras and Benz.

Not too worried about the old BC B6s, mind you  ;)
Don't you start.

The 27 just gets about everything, three mornings it has seen at least one Trident along with Mercs, Tridents, Spectras, B6's and it wasn't long since 687 was on it, even a Hybrid

Yes just about to post that. 4571 is on there today. Also add B7RLE's to the list as they have started regually appearing Mon-Sat.

Other road drivers are getting type trained, just after the rota'd drivers and spares. I'm not on the 900 but I'm getting type trained. Just ask in Training; Paul or Paul will set you straight. Didn't you hear the radio call this morning?

I might have heard it had I been at work this morning.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Seams whatever they put on the 27 they usually break down, shame for the passengers having to use it. Reliability has gone right downhill since the clapped out B6's were put on it, before that they had the crap Excells on it... another contender for 'most unreliable route' the running is ok it's just the breakdowns. This week has seen more Tridents on and a few B7RLE's so obviously an attempt to inprove reliability.

What is the latest on the transfers
Have any more YW Presidents been despatched to Dundee following on from 4117/8/20/1/2/3/4?
What are BC going to transfer out on receipt of the E400s?

I would also like to know this information.

I will ask to see which buses we'll be losing to gain the E400's, but most likely be the 43'hundreds to cascade to YW to replace the Presidents of which will go to Dundee. I say the 43's as YW hasn't got any 41's left but a few gaps in the 43 fleet at YW. But this is NX so most likely be the 44's to be sent to AG hahaha

If you look at the fleet, the 9 E400's we're in receipt of will nicely level out with the removal & transfer of:

4358
4359
4364
4365
4366
4367
4368
4390
4393

Will slot in nicely with YW's 43 hundreds. That'll leave BC with:
4313
4314
4315
4316
4317
4318
4320
4321
4323
4324
4325
4326
4327
4328
of the 43XX batch. (If you dont count 4218?)

How many Presidents are heading to Scotland in total?
Don't you start.

Ash

I would think a couple more presidents may got to WB from YW to make the 5 fully president operated as at the moment the alx400/gemini's/mercs all still appear in the daytime.

I dont know exactly my friend as my previous post was just if these common trends continue. I'm sure a substansial [sp] amount will, though.

Possibility from YW to WB to fully convert the 5?

Of course the bad news is if BC do lose the 43's then 41's will be displaced to other roads, naturally. I'm betting that, as usual, the 44's and 46's will keep to East Birmingham routes. You dont see 44's and 46's as often as you should on South Birmingham routes.
