As far as I know, 687 is still in service.

I should imagine 687 will remain in service until 586 is picked from NXC by WN

Have short excel's left West Midlands? Looked at the NXWM (100 - 501) index, short excel's still stated withdrawn.

Yes they have all gone now, most if not all are now scrapped

Shame that can't have some sort of send-off really.
Don't you start.

Unless it stays a little longer and 586 goes to PE, but that's probably unlikely as getting rid of 687 would be a higher priority I'm sure

1644 is really waste money for repaint & Retrim then withdrawn due to engine fire damage! 1644 has Electronic Display will move to other mercs with any T or V reg.

Wouldn't have thought that PE will require a replacement for 1644, with frequency drop on 222 and probably a PVR drop on the 289, PE should have plenty buses, even if 823 goes to WB.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Waste of money? I am sure when they were doing the refurbs on Mercs no-one could have said don't pick 1644 that will catch fire a year after it is refurbed!
