Confirmed tridents staying at WN for definate are 4535-4609.

Looks like loosing the early ones.

I should imagine with 48 x Volvo B7RLE & 21 x Hybrids (all less than 18 months old) & with the full 75 x 53/04/54 Plate Tridents set to remain, once the Hybrids are all delivered, WN will be near the top of the list of garages with the youngest average age

Probably won't get another new bus for 20 years after that!
No need to rush for photo's then  ;D ;D ;D

What about the spectras?

Ashley

How much longer have the Excels got? days?

Spectras are staying put Discodave as it sounds, probably get replaced by Tridents by the end of the year :D

Funny you should say that 4006 I remember when Wolves got the B10s, Solos and the Excels new and did not get anything for years and was an old buses home was even mentioned in the local rag letter page, until the tridents came for the 79 and 559/560 at the time then the 45** series ones but there was quite a few years gap between the Optares and the Tridents.

Obviously, you in Dundee haven't heard a lot.

What we've heard is that its going to be an engine donor. I think that it was mentioned which bus it was going to, but I forgot.

engine for 301.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

301 HAS BEEN SITTING ENGINELESS FOR A WHILE NOW .WITH PARTS BEING TAKEN FROM IT .I WOULD BE SURPRIZED IF IT WENT BACK ON THE ROAD.

Maybe they've changed their mind and 296 is going into service and 301 will be scrapped?

1426 is now at Perry Barr from Walsall. on the 28 today, with PB blind fitted. Maybe a replacement for 7022 while it's repaired?

replacement for 1480, last B10L in old colours. PB might not have actually taken 1480 out of service though!

1480 was out on the 28 today

PM

If PB have 15 liberators left and then CV omnilinks are going there then that must mean that liberator operation there is soon to come to an end?

Hope not, the TWM livery really suits the B10Ls

Ashley

Sadly 1480 has been earmarked for withdrawal since august so it was inevitable it would be withdrawn soon
