They can't, Walsall are already struggling in the afternoon peak for Euro 6 doubles
Trap 4601?
Will be tighter once 4596/4607 leave as they are pretty much being used on the peak boards I've noticed...

Trap 4601?

No more traps are being bought when there's likely to be 220 new buses in the next 12 months. It's cheaper to pay the odd incursion

If 4601 wasn't painted in Walsall colours, presumably that would've gone as well, if there had been a trap available!

Slightly off topic, but by the time 4125 had been painted into Twm colours, had all the remaining 41xx 's gone from the fleet, because I'm surprised a 46xx got painted into Walsall colours (ditto the Wolves 45xx vehicle!), because surely 4125 will be withdrawn from day to day service,  to go full  time into the heritage fleet long before the equivalent 45xx & 46xx vehicles?

Just wondering the reasoning.

4148, 4176, 4177 and 4185 were still in service when 4125 was done, they may have been others too, but those lasted until August 2019 at BC.

Any views/comments are my own and do not reflect those of my employer.

That bit was the easy bit to understand. I have no idea what you are on about with the rest of the post

As I remember 4601 was badly damaged and repaired using parts off deroofed 4391 so the chance was taken to do it while it was in the works. I expect 4535 was done being the first of the batch. Just my reasoning.

4535 was selected as it is Wolverhampton's tachograph bus and needed a tidy up

I'm sure it'll be put in some sort of museum or preserved, although I don't see that happening in the near future.

It will be withdrawn from normal service won't it?
When was the last time 3225 operated a normal service (not special or private hire services)?
