With the BY fleet now spread over three different garages, what happens to the contract with MAN regarding 1788-1836?

The contract is finishing. That is one of the savings

That'll be odd seeing one of them on bus work as they seem to be coaches.
Wander what they'll see use on? Will they see use on all bus work at BC, or peak duplicates like the 08:09 X2 Swan - St Peters via Solihull Town duplicate?

My guess is that you won't see them on regular public services, just schools/works runs not available to general public. Which frees up vehicles for regular public service.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Do BC run any isolated closed door school runs that don't do other services after, as a lot of school runs used to do other routes after? And which ones are these please?

Where does that one go to please? Does it follow the normal 50 route or go somewhere else?

Edit - Just found it on this site it says Highgate Road, JC College to Birmingham City Centre at 16:18.

Another single decker, it's bad enough they're now appearing more often on double decker routes, unless they're going to bring back the 28E (Dyas Road to Tyburn)........ nah, of course they won't !

Perry Barr asked for an extra single deck as they were struggling to maintain their single deck services

After gaining a high majority of Bordesley Omnilink's? Don't remember them struggling before they had the Bordesley ones...

The ex-BY Scanias aren't just sitting around, they transferred along with the 8A/8C.

So if they're struggling to maintain their single deck services why do they keep appearing on the 7 ?

Yes I know that, but you would expect there to be spares. I have to agree with Steve, the Omnilinks are creeping more onto the Decker routes now and it isn't fairing well when you take social distancing into consideration.

If they are 'struggling' why are the making more often appearances on the 33?

Change buses, peak buses required back in garage for inspection. There's many reasons
