6716 is out on WA6 today for its first day in service at Walsall.

As Walsall lost 10 Tridents in the past months at least 3 of these platinums should be allocated to trident routes.

Not quite sure on your logic there.

Every garage normally has the correct number of buses of each type with the same percentage of spares. Walsall has been short of this figure for there platinum routes ever since the X51 started getting service increases, these moves just put the figures back correct. Yes they will turn up other routes when spares are available and other vehicle types have more buses unavailable the same as any other 'unusual working' but if you notice Walsall had 7 'trapped Tridents' moved in to cover their Birmingham routes, and now have 7 extra Platinums, exactly the same number.

My point is there's less Tridents on 41/89 8 since the departure of Tridents. Although the odd platinum is allocate to a 6/7 board. There not as many double decks as before. And it seems a waste a lot of these platinums parked up most of the day restricted to peak time boards.

Permanent move.
The X10 has had new buses, allowing these to go to WA, so there are enough platinum buses for their Platinum routes.
