I suppose BC will keep the Y-reg Tridents untill they can no longer be used in the city centre, but from my point of view I like them, so I will welcome 4131 and 4132 with open arms. They are smooth, the heaters are good, they drive nice. They are no slower than an E400, in fact some are quicker pulling away.
As Tony said a few years ago when 4177 was refurbished, most passengers thought the bus was a lot newer than it actually is. They are solidly built and have stood the test of time.

Presumably they will see off the V reg Volvos at Yardley Wood, given they are used on the 18/49-which don't enter the City..
Don't judge me until you've walked in my size ten shoes.

Wonder if these are early candidates for disposal one BC starts getting new buses.

4131 and 4132 are also only a handful of early generation low-floors that have only ever been allocated to one garage since new.

Not quite correct
4132 spent two months at Wolverhampton 11/14 - 1/15

Debranded 4597 is out today on WA8/89.

4094 finally made it to WB out on the 48 today

4572 has just left brum on yw50. I'm assuming this is a transfer as opposed to a loan going by some of the posts above.

Whoops. Must have missed that one. Cheers for pointing that out. I'll update my notes accordingly!

According to the fleetlist 4572 & 74 are still at WN not YW even though Tony has said otherwise

They are YW as per quoted fleetchanges. Fleetlist obviously hasn't been updated yet.

I have put a note in the B & E main site page for Tony to read. I was confused as I was sure those 2 had been transferred last month but the fleet list said otherwise @Winston especially when the guys put 1 or the other was on a YW route  ??? :-\

Looks like the fleetlist has been updated, but 4572/4 have been missed.

Have there not been any transfers with WN now having more Platinum's to start upgrading the 126?

4599 and 4601 were still in use at WN today. Haven't seen 4598 today so don't know if it has moved or not.
