You must be the only person who does, they've been at Wolverhampton since they were purchased.

He's referring to WMPTE Fleetlines 4558-4579, not Tridents

The last of the first batch of the Leyland engined Fleetlines iirc 4530-4580

He's definitely not the only one; for us who aren't teenagers there was life before bland generic Dennis / Transbus Tridents. Here's the original 4565 at YW:

Now that's a bus worth photographing!
Back in the good old days, you could actually have a laugh with folk without fear of the sack

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Those were the days with some of the best buses in the Wumpty fleet either gardner or Leyland engined and all that diesel exhaust fumes and more character too. These were the buses of my childhood back in the 70 & 80's

The ex-Midland Red D11s and D13s at Sutton, plus Sutton's Volvos, with visiting H- and L-suffixed corporation buses from WB and WA ruled my local routes when I entered my teens, and that will forever be my favourite era, all mysterious and full of arcane history.  The first Metros were out - with their Lego-inspired face, and the streets were dominated by Birmingham standard spec Fleetlines.
Don't you start.
