To YW

Has another one left today, was coming up Westley Road NIS and saw one leaving the garage around half an hour ago, with engineer driving and the ticket machine looked removed? The van was following too. Couldn't get the fleet number.

Wow, I actually got a transfer right for once - did post a little while ago that 1932-19XX would move to YW. Hopefully YW can tidy them up a little.

@Mike K only other routes that could cope with the B7RLE is the 56 and 70. So most likely will be for the 56, 70 or, X64.

I really don't think the 70 could cope, especially at peaks

Definitely not from what I've seen. But hey, I don't catch buses anymore, so what do I know

The 55 follows exactly the same route on the busy part of the 70 route and that copes in the peaks @Sh4318

From what I've saw, the 70 has heavy loads to Parkhill Drive whenever I've caught it at peaks. But like I said, I don't use buses anymore so...

After the Fox And Goose the 70 starts to get quiet but, I would say it gets heavy loads till the Hunters Moon about 3 minutes on the 70 away from where the 55 turns on to Stechford Lane at the Fox And Goose. But as I said the 55 copes which is a busier route and that copes from what I have so, I do not see why the 70 wouldn't after using them for 10 years @Sh4318

Glad to see 4368 come over to YW  :) Assume 4366 and 4367 will be following - allow a President or two to be withdrawn.

4436 now at PN
4878 now at BC
4879 now at BC

As regards the 70 having single decks, have the people saying it could cope, checked all the loads through Coleshill, specially when the Coleshill School starts & finished. Have they checked the loads out of Solihull when the schools & colleges near the town centre start & finish? Thought not. 55 & 94 aren't much use covering those sections.

Even the bit down the Washwood Heath Road, It is alright saying everyone from the Clock Garage could fit on a single deck, but what if the single deck fills with people for the Washwood Heath Road, so people for Water Orton or Coleshill cannot get on a full bus?

Glad to see the baxk of 4878 and 4879! Can't wait for the rest to follow

Liberator9

Yeah the 70 does need double decks - seen myself the loading of it in Solihull when the schools and college finish - very good loads on it which would be a squeeze on a single. The double decks provide a good bit of extra capacity along the 55 and 94 section as well.

Great! More slow buses for BC, just what you need when you're running late.  >:(
