Thanks for clearing that up - haven't really been paying attention to transfers over the last few weeks so didn't realise AG needed to make up the numbers for the lost Presidents.

Dundee still need another 4 double deckers for the Fife School Contracts before September, they should more than likely be further Presidents from either AG or WB?

4638 currently on the 80
4641 did the 140/241 running board

If they have managed to run the school contracts for the past few days, then I doubt more buses will be needed?

I take it they've already started then, schools start back early up there! Saying that do Dundee also operate reduced summer timetables with Pvr increasing back up from end of August?

No we do not

4638 has now transferred WB - AG

B.C Driver

I would have thought some 42XX from WB or PB could transfer to AG to free up the large numbers at those garages.

After all the dashboard etc is more or less identical to the Presidents so AG drivers wouldnt need type training. Just a thought!

Whats going to replace the Mercs at pensnett, more tridents or maybe some gemini would be nice to see on pensnett route.

Liberator9

It would certainly be interesting to see the 42XXs at AG! I'd assume further Trident cascades will replace the Mercs at Pensett - if there are to be new Enviro 400s for the 900/957 and Walsall Services next year then Tridents would be freed up - these could then be used to replace any remaining mercs.

There were suggestions that the 243/244 might receive new E200's at some point as well

Would prefer enviro 400s rather than tridents they nicer looking, though I think the 09 enviros need a repaint. The ones they haven't done. I hope Wolverhampton get the enviro 200 soon. Nice to have a modern fleet

They could do with a refurb as well, some of them anyway.

I think it'll be a while before the 09 Enviros get a refurb - although it would be good if the red could be repainted. There will still be a large number of the 2008/2009 and 2010 NX repaint Geminis and Tridents to refurbish. Some of the Tridents at YW which were just repainted in 2009 etc. are in a very tatty state now internally.

11 x 09 plate E400's have already been refurb'd last year.
