I would hazard a guess at either BC - they always seem to require tridents, or YW - to replace presidents or B10Ls

4135 will no doubt end up at BC, the dumping ground for ageing Tridents. I believe BC Mobile can't get enough of them.

BN, Where is 4135 going to? Has 4385 gone yet and where are 4310/11/12 going?

Nowhere, why ask about these and not the other 198?

Although anything from YW seems worse then any other garage.

Is WN's Trydonts the ones with the small mirrors? look like they've been taken off a metro.

Sorry! I was only asking as i thought all the older tridents at WN would be transferred elsewher after the hybrids enter service.

Whar do you mean by the other 198? 198 What?

It was an exaggeration about the number of the other Tridents in service at WN.

198 plus the buses you mentioned gives WN total number of vehicles 203

BN - is there any clue what has been replaced by the 12 E400Hs - or are they still 'bedding in'?! There was some comment in the hybrid thread about reliability.

4305/6 transferred from WN -WA in March, as did 4320/1 WN- BC those at least transferred as a result of the Volvo B5 Hybrids entering service, 4307 may also have moved across from WN - WA in early April prior to the E400H entering service.

The only transfers I've seen reported since the E400H entered service at WN are 4308/9 WN - WA & 4384 WN - YW, there could be another 9 to be withdrawn/transferred elsewhere yet, plus from Sunday the X1 is withdrawn reducing WN's pvr by a further 2 buses.

Just to add insult to injury for the poor X1, the posters on the bus state that alternative links from Dudley to Merry Hill can be found by the X96, no mention of the 255 Wolverhampton to Merry Hill link showing just how unsuccessful the first leg was, as for the Dudley to Merry Hill section this was usually quite full with X96 passengers however the return Merry Hill to Dudley section was never as successful, probably because it displayed Wolverhampton

Passengers have plenty of options to spend over an hour getting from Wolves to Merry Hill on buses this is why the X1 didn't work on the other hand the x99 (as I recall 45mins to MH) although poorly advertised and only running for a short period did not see much custom either. Against my opinion maybe a 'quick' 'quicker' or limited stop from wolves to MH is not required afterall or maybe It should have been advertised better?

Watch out new route next year X2 W-ton to M.Hill lol  :P

X99 may well have been quicker, but it did seem a long-winded route and the two times I caught it when it ran it was half an hour late
