It's been confirmed Pensnett's 30 Enviro400s are now staying at Pensnett. We won't receive any Enviros from any other garages in the near future either.

It looks like some are getting new 9 branding, which is what I originally thought would happen after the old branding started being removed.

Just glad PE are keeping there Enviros!
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

They will help keep Pensnett's average age much lower

I wonder what will happen to 4816 though? Reregistration/renumbering and remain at Pensnett, or swap with one from another garage?

If the PE enviro400's have been debranded from the 9 and is gaining new route branding, i wonder if the 50 will have new branding aswell?

I'm not sure about the branding part just speculating but it seems more than likely.

I'm bet your very happy that 4813 is staying :) (Probably will be repainted/refurbed and if there will be new 9 branding then it will probably carry branding aswell).

I'm very very very happy  ;D the sound of 4813 will continue to echo around Halesowen.

With regards to 4816, the general public will not even notice a change in identity, or probably even really know it was 4816 anyway, and to staff and enthusiasts, a new identity will be noticeable, and we will all know it was the bus involved in that tragic incident.

The possibility of 4698 coming to PE was very exciting. But I'm glad the 48** series Enviros are staying put  :)

I doubt any older Enviro's will be released to Pensnett any time soon other than if the Enviro swap is ever back on he cards, many of the Birmingham garages need their double decker fleets updating, if any newer deckers do ever become available, they will not doubt be given priority over Pensnett receiving any additional double deckers. I think the best Pensnett can hope for in terms of additional deckers are Presidents or early Tridents

Or Spectras!  ::) But on a more sensible note, I know it will change when WN loose their Tridents but at the moment WN have been putting double deckers on routes that really don't need them such as the 27, 27A and the 28 when a lot of PE routes do. I must have seen about 20-30 doubles on the 27, 27A over the last few weeks since the B5's entered service as I live right on the route and I could count the number of people on the top deck on all 20-30 buses on one hand, 4 to be precise, this is for the Dudley end but I'm sure its not much busier the Wolverhampton end

I suspect the Spectra's will now see out their remaining life @ WN, not really much point transferring them anywhere else for 12-18 months.

WN isn't currently top heavy on spare buses, as it was 9 hybrids in & 8 buses out, however, of the 8 out there were 1 x B6LE, 1 x Excel & 4 x Mercs, in the interim at least the double decker proportion at WN has increased whether this is temporary only remains to be seen on what leaves when the 12 x E400H enter service

Only caught it on the 59 earlier this week! Could all of 4305-12 be transfering to WA as i thought  they were all going to BC with 4384/5 to YW.

Any ideas on Which Garages will get some of the E400 on order. My guess is PB and BC

It could be PB, they're expecting new buses for the Sutton Lines & the North Birmingham review
