QuoteThats about 23 buses (according to bus times) at AG to be withdrawn in the next 2 months then assuming that day is met.
Possible blue E400 to another garage and then platinums to AG perhaps.
Can't AG have the Blue E400 themselves? They had a couple E400 loans from BC once
Local Bus Routes: 4, 4A, A15, A16, 41,1,11A,11C, A9, A12

It would mean introducing a new type to a depot, training all the drivers etc. Whereas the drivers are already trained on MMC's, maybe the MMC's could go to WB and the Euro 6 46** Gems move to AG.

I'd absolutely love those 46** Geminis making a return to AG, but again it's up to Tony. The Coventry Mmc are most likely heading for Wolverhampton in my opinion to follow their sisters, not sure about them 75** at Coventry though

5 of the ex Coventry platinums went to Perry Barr replacing Gemini there. Often see them on the 14.
And of course only Tony/NX know where those Coventry MMC are "most likely" heading to.

Quote from: Stu on February 26, 2023, 07:37:43 PMThe only buses that need to be replaced in the short-term are the non-Euro6 ones, due to TfWM requirements coming into effect from May 2023.
That will be interesting. That's only three months away and by my calculations there are currently around 40 more non E6 double deckers than can be replaced by the E6 double deckers still to be cascaded from Coventry - although replacing some with Coventry single deckers could be an option and if all the Hydrogens can be utilised daily that will also help.

Cannot see AG getting Platinums, they seem to not want more than 11 there right now, there seems to have been a tendancy for a while now, for AG to mostly get older cascaded vehicles, seems strange that both YW & BC get the newest and AG get the oldest im sure there is a reason, but at the moment it seems a mystery

At present BC and PB both have and require a fully euro 6 fleet, wheras until May 2023 AG/YW doesn't require that. For quite a long time now buses that can't run into the City Centre have been used on routes like the 11/1/72 and 18/49/76.

But BC also has euro 6 19/20 year old tridents, so they do still have some of the oldest buses in the fleet to as well as some of the newest. And also AG have the 61XX 22XX MMC.

Will the E400mmc and 200mmc be enough for all their routes though?

Back when 7515-7528 were transferred to AG and moved back after 5 months, along with 6955-6957 coming and going after a month. Doesn't seem like they need those newer platinums
