From what I have heard, Acocks Green need them for the 5 as a bridge on route has had new signage and the ALX400s are the only buses that can fit under then new height restriction

That sounds more plausible, as some of those B7TL/ALX400's are the ones that have the traps, but not internally refurbished

Robin Hood Lane, Hall Green presumably (not far of from Sarehole Mill going towards Solihull).
They're not going under there currently and being routed via Yardley Wood Station but they will be going under there again from July 22nd.

4592 is about to do the 09:10 33 from Wolverhampton Bus Station with its new exhaust trap fitted. It should then return to garage and transfer to YW

It certainly has done, replaced by 4366.

So, we are are getting 4500-07 back as well as 4533/4. Ten Gemini's to us and ten ALX's to AG, hopefully, don't hope they take all of the ALX's away! But I'm happy they will be permanent to the 5, but will miss the Gemini's. They may even make common appearances on the new 4/A.

Hmmm, I'm sure Tony said something about expect some unexpected buses being Crimson'd. These ALX400s maybe?

Did he say unexpected Crimson or just unexpected repaints? I assumed 4601 was one of those.

I hope that's happens, PB's ALX400's (if not retrimmed) are awful inside.

I notice that it says 'The bad bits' and goes on to explain that Springfield Road will lose its services. But go to the new 4/4A timetable and there's no mention of 'The bad bits' - the virtual halving of the service from Acocks Green to Solihull, down from every 6 minutes to every 10. They're hoping we in Olton won't notice...

Is the sad smiley because it's ZF or because it's left WN ;-). Is 4591 trapped?

Because it's ZF! ;D Yeah it's been trapped, but unlike 92 the flap is white so it's less obvious.

MW

Meanwhile 4380 was on the 2 yesterday. Couldn't see the flap on it, so I'm presuming it doesn't have an exhaust trap fitted.

I do have a gut feeling 4370/4/9/80 are all to leave for WN, sad times if they do :(
