You passed me on Walsall road I was on 4858 waiting to pull out the bus stop but you failed to give way haha

You don't stop halfway up a hill like Tower Hill in a President if you can help it!

Tomf1993

Haha it looked like it was maintaining its speed quite well

MW

4082 at MS? No surprises there. It was well known to be the worst President at AG, with regular breakdowns. The latest one was gearbox/gear selector related and it broke down in the middle on the Stratford Rd/Cole Bank junction lol

I think it may have had the gearbox from 4079

I assume still more VPs to come? as from the 25/10/2015 WA have 4 running boards on the Amazon route? im not sure why more buses are needed as only two of the running boards are AM buses, and those 2 buses can do two other boards in the PM boards which dont run in the AM like 77/06 or 302/05 for example?

4871 at BC. Not sure if mentioned before, if so sorry in advance.

4072-4082 plaxton presidents b7tls weren't the best batch of this type from my experience, they were painfully slow new. 4079 is this being canabalized for parts, I would have thought there would have been spare gearboxes  lying around from various fire damaged ones, not all were engine compartment fires.

Is 4871 a perminant move to BC? was this the one away for engine work? WA already short on E400s for the 10 and from 25 10 2015 some will be required for platinum routes.

Short on E400's for the 10? iirc the 10 is allocated 'deckers' so any type can be used.

Tomf1993

Allocation sheets say E400s thats what the controller in the bus station told me.

It was confirmed by Tony a week or so ago that it was awaiting completion of repairs prior to transfer to BC, so is a permanent move.

4041 now actually at YW, just taken it down myself!

Saw a President cross Scott Arms towards Walsall around 1600. Not sure where to put it.
