Great! More slow buses for BC, just what you need when you're running late.  >:(
@Bham Central Driver That is what AVL is for to put you back on time  ;D
Although tridents are better  :P

Tridents are much better. E400s (well 4895 etc) are so sluggish and the door interlock seems to take an eternity to release. It may only be a few extra seconds, but this can make the difference between getting through a set of trafficlights or not.

4879 is now out on the Pershore Road

Let's face it the 70 will keep getting the scraps from bc because it's a ex lea hall service a bit like the 97 and 94 from pb. Lol

Well hopefully the 94 and 97 (or one of them) will have new buses next year - however East Birmingham has seen some good investment with the MMCs, both 200s and Platinum 400s, refurbished Scanias, refurbished Geminis. Sure if some E400MMCs came next year for the 94/97 the situation will be very good.

ALX400's aren't too bad, not sure where the euro 4's are heading though.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

4874; 4875 now at BC

For some reason I thought the unbranded ones would have stayed as cover for the 51

WA still have 4869 - 4873 as cover, and 4776.
