Tony do you know where 1635 - 1637 are heading or is too early to ask?

Judging by the current liking of putting batches back together I would guess at Pensnett, but I don't know yet

Saying that, I always thought it was odd when 1632 & 1634 transferred to WB, while 1633 went to PE, especially as the bulk of 1629-1649 are at PE

been told that about 4 or 5 presidents are going to AG from WB today (bank hol) and being replaced with more 53 plate geminis. not sure of fleet numbers but i know 4082 is definitly going to AG.
an empty bus is a happy driver.

There are only 3 53 plated Gemini's left (4517-9) at Acocks Green, so it may only be 3 Presidents leaving WB or might some 54 plated Gemini's leave Acocks Green too.

There are 4, 4520 is still there

Yes, of course, Ignore me then! The fleetlist I'm looking at says it's at WB!

Ash

From the 2nd September the 74E between Birmingham and Handsworth is reinstated so more double deckers will be used on here so eliminating the number of double deckers used on WB town services.

MW

Argh more Presidents. And my favourite vehicles are gone! I hope nobody takes 4635-79 now!

MW

4517 is currently parked at Solihull Station waiting to go on the 5, so not quite West Bromwich just yet.

Ash

I think there will be more mercs from BY to replace 1526/9/1622 and 1626 still in travel west midland livery and may be some of the older mercs in NXWM livery such as 1523 and 1534.

You never know, some of the Bordesley Mercedes may go to Coventry as well as they still have a sizeable amount of older r/s reg ones, or Wolverhampton to get rid of their last few ex-Coventry examples or the last Excels.

To be honest, I doubt they'll waste the money to change the red to blue on the Mercs. It'd me more logical to transfer something like Scania Omnilinks from somewhere to Coventry.

What would the transferred Scania's be replaced with?

1547 back to CV, 1557 and 1655 to name 3 mercs recently to go to Coventry all they have to do is paint the red to sky blue and put the NX Coventry logos on which i doubt costs a lot of money, yeah wouldnt suprise me if some of the BY mercs head to Coventry as i doubt Coventry will be getting any new single deckers in the near future.

Only noted 4519 out of the 4, on the 74 today.

4044, 4054, 4055, 4083, 4084, 4087, 4090, 4095, 4099, 4100, 4110 and 4113 are still at WB.

4518 was the only one out at AG

Michael. You do really need to stop calling people 'Idiots'. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and reasons to back up their opinion. You may not agree, that's fine but it is bang out of order for personal attacks like that.

Ive been a member on a number of forums and various chat rooms over the years, on all different subjects. I find it very amusing  that the most bitchy and the one that has the most abuse is one about local buses!
