Just thought I would start a new thread to discuss new Rotala company Storagely.

Not new, originally Zaks, renamed Central Connect (Apr-2007), then Shady Lane Property  (Nov-2014) and finally Storagely in Feb-2024. From the latest report submitted to Companies House there was no activity. Looks lie a shell company that could be used to facilitate mergers.

Nope... its self Storage. Google is your friend

All opinions and onions mentioned on here are mine and not those of any employer, current, past, present or future, or presented as fact, unless I prove it otherwise.

Presumably diversification ahead of any potential effects from Mr Parkers actions...

If you look at our website.  We have two sites at present.  Preston and Tividale.  Both are accepting tenants, we have container storage facilities on site at both depots.

Westy

Was this a result of investing in extra space, prior to covid, where you had the business, but post covid, it dropped off, so you had to find other ways to justify the space?

(As you might be aware, the convience store franchise company I work for, used to rent space from Jjx in Pensnett, prior to Covid, but we gradually reduced our reliance on them, plus we opened a depot in Bedford, and shut one in Hastings & ,if you know our service area, we're basically Wales & Midlands, South & East. At one point, we were offering storage space in Bedford!)

Since becoming a private business - we have more freedom to decide how we move forward.

We are focused on long term sustainability, which means we have invested and modernized the Preston depot.  At the same time, we have developed around the perimeter of that property 24 residential properties which we will let, which will take our residential property portfolio to 49.

As I said above we have developed excess capacity in two sites to create two container storage sites.  Preston has the potential to grow to around 100 containers.  Tividale up to 300.   We intend to increase supply to match demand.

Our objective is to diversify the business, take away the reliance on bus operations.  We are also looking at none bus industry acquisitions.
