my sons mate said he received a parking fine c/o west mids trains from a company
called Based in Kent I think the company name was simba?.or samba?.. maybe wmt are chasing non payers now...  has anyone had similar experiences on BR parking fines?? I have been told that parking fines are often private prosecutions and in the event of the
accused not having the funds to pay the fine the company may have to pay all legal fees
  themselves.........

Which station was it?
WMT has contracted out the parking management at some of their stations, some now with ANPR in use.

I believe it was Acocks green  he had paid by cheque in the post with proof of posting  and a post office assurance of delivery at the earliest  28th or 30th DEC  but the company still hasn't presented the cheque.?...... are they trying to increase the fine by saying they haven't received the payment within 14 days........???
