For the next stop announcements, between Broadway and Queens road, the announcement says "Next stop- queens road" before the bus has even passed broadway.

Of course the NSA requires an update to the 'Broadway' stop location, the stop has recently moved 145 metres down the road to a new fangled shelter just before the junction of Lake Avenue.

Same with stops on the X1 and X2...

Yes, if the stop has been physically moved, then the GPS co-ordinates will need to be updated in the NSA system.

We have the same thing on the 2 and 3 (YW) services, the outbound stop at Fulham Road (now Brunswick Road) on Stoney Lane was moved last year a bit further down the road, the system is already announcing the next stop when the vehicle stops there.

Also just another question, is there any particular reason why the hydrogen buses only operate on the 51. Around 5/6 of them operate a day while the other 15 or so are sitting in the depot. Surely they could be put to some good use. Unless of course it is something to do with re-fueling, or however hydrogen buses are powered...

This has been covered, asked and answered before, please have a browse in other threads or use the forum search function.

In particular the 'Hydrogen Vehicles' thread should answer your questions:

Is it just me, or is the 51 not showing any buses being tracked on bustimes?

Yes I noticed that this morning. Probably will be like that now until the next time the bus timetables change when the kids break up from school. It happened recently on the 8 and 9 services.

West_Brom/WalsallBusGeek

Ah ok. Is there any particular reason why this is the case?
