Been a few years since I last took any real interest in the bus scene but I have a question or two.

Are the NX hybrids both ADL and Wright still all fully hybrid or have they been converted to standard diesel?

Assuming they are still hybrids, why have they been painted into standard NXWM livery rather than a green variation of it?

And lastly, what routes are they used on these days?

@ap1991 am sure i am right in saying that both the 54xx and 55xx varieties are being converted to standard EuroVI diesel engines because of the costly replacement of the batteries that the Hybrids use.

Naturally this means they have been painted out of the green hybrid livery and into standard crimson.

Finally these days I think its a case of they can be used on any route, whilst WNs are still used on the 1, i have also seen them on the 15, 16 & 17 and have seen reports of them on other WN routes.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

No, there is no plans to Convert the Volvos, or all of the ADLs (converting some creates s[are traction motors and batteries which are the two expensive parts)

Why would you repaint them green when every bus delivered since 2015 has much greener credentials.

They are generally on the Wolverhampton 1 and Birmingham 61/63 but do stray

Makes sense converting a small number to create a pool of spare parts.

Out of interest, how many of the 54xx e400 hybrids are now fully converted to diesel, and did any apart from 5409 receive the better suited 6 cylinder engine?

Also, are the volvo b5lh 55xx still full hybrids?

5401 - 5414/6 have all been converted and No B5LHs have been converted
