Some of the new timetables which commence from 18th April have appeared on the timetable section of the NX website. I'm glad to see the 28 is going to every 10 minutes. But some of the other timetables I've searched have 'then at frequent intervals' on them which is useless. I'm not expecting every journey to be mentioned, but routes like the 35 which also state 'then at frequent intervals' is ridiculous because the 35 has been every 10 minutes for years so why not put 'approx every 10 minutes' instead.

But every 10 minutes is a frequent interval?
23 - Bartley Green
76 - Northfield
X20 - Birmingham Via Longbridge, Northfield & QE Hospital / University

And the passengers are supposed to know this are they ?
What's wrong with every 8-10 minutes or every 10 minutes etc etc
The bus industry may understand this but I don't think passengers do !

Services with a frequency of 10 minutes or higher (ie less than every ten minutes) are considered "turn up and go", so passengers do not need to know specifically what time the bus will arrive, just that they will not have to wait too long.

My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

NX site updated with the changes.

The 934/5/6/7 is only every 10 minutes in peak hours instead of the pre-lockdown frequency of every 6-8 minutes,

18th April still isn't a full reopening of the country hence why the frequency hasn't reverted back to pre-COVID times. Give NXWM a chance, every 10 minutes is still frequent and I'm sure the frequency will go up again as more people return to working away from home, I'd say not until the new school year starts in September though.

Well, as long as it keeps to schedule.....

The "express part" is just Birmingam - Walsall, right? After that it is a normal service. Like the X12 - "express" to the Bromford estate, then serves every stop afterwards through to Solihull.

I was expecting to see announcements about the 50 joining up with the 82 / 87, is this further ahead or has it been scrapped as a daft idea??

Wander if the Stratford Rd YW 6 review that was apparently going to happen last year will still happen at some point post covid lockdown? Or if it's been scrapped completly?

I was thinking about that the other day, it would be interesting to see if is scrapped or saved for later this year.
