Plaxton Presidents when new

Hey all, just a quick query. I remember hearing (and possibly seeing a photo) about the Presidents for the Hagley Road when new, in which they carried a purple/lilac version of the TWM livery, replacing the red with the branded colour. Obviously they never had this in service, as they carried the less impressive branding with a lilac circle on the side. I remember hearing that they got changed by Plaxton before delivery.
Can anyone confirm this at all please, or has my memory truly gone? Cheers.

Here's the only photo I know of. If the comments are anything to go by, it was repainted before delivery to TWM.

I have another photo somewhere, but it's just a variation of this. Same bus. Yes.it seems the original plan was the red part of the livery to be painted different colours as branding.

Now, I'll have to sit patiently and hope that someone makes a President for Omsi, so that I can recreate it!

Or I guess an ALX400 could work in the meantime...  ::)
