If the speed limiter is set at 59mph then it is legally a bus! A coach must be capable of 60mph so not as clearcut as you think!

Thanks Tony,
Can imagine defence standing up and saying case should be dismissed because it is a coach only for the prosecution to stand up and say "its a bus because its fitted with a speed limiter"!

Steveminor

A coach also has 0 standing capacity, so it is possible to re certify a bus to have 0 standing remove the limiter & circumvent dda restrictions in theory  (at least till the end of the year) a bit unscrupulous though.

The term battle bus was used during the referendum in 2016.

'Battle bus' is a term that's been around for as long as I can remember.

The term "battle bus" probably has more impact than "campaign coach" though. ;)
