[I love Walsall buses]

I went on this bus today, was quite a fast solo imo and the brakes weren't squeaky st all. The doors are body though

My overall opinion on the Mellor's...

Firstly, I have to say that the suspension on these vehicles is quite firm.  It makes for an uncomfortable ride over speed humps.

The seats are rather hard and are quite uncomfortable.  Also, there aren't many seats on the lower level which can make it difficult for the elderly or disabled to access the seating at the back.

These buses are quite noisy, especially when accelerating.

The doors take too long to close and make a rather annoying buzzing sound when closing.

Overall, I dislike these buses.  I'd have an E300 over these any day!!!

 Travelled on KX06LXO/21021 on a 145a yesterday. Vehicle still in a fairly smart Hansons livery , went well [with the usual rattles when ticking over]. Very tidy inside. Not sure what the long term plans are for this bus but I suppose if it is on the list for repainting it will see further service.  :D
