"Operational reasons"

In the case of the 5 and the 76, driver changeover on the 5 happens at Sarehole Mill, drivers travel to/from the garage on the 11A/C which is a short journey.

And on the 76, changeovers happen at Haunch Lane, from where it's a short walk or hop on the 18 back to garage.

Don't forget that West Brom operate a route all the way to Bromsgrove , but through clever interworking with the 48, drivers change over at West Bromwich bus station.

My guess was that with AG gaining the X2 not too long, that it was going to interwork with the 5 as I thought they had the same frequency, until I heard the 5 was every 30 minutes!
