For those of you who are interested in Bus Depots etc , David Domin has produced a history of Bus Garages and Outstations, Tram and Trolleybus Depots of Major Operators in the Midlands area (i.e Shropshire, Staffs, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire & Herefordshire), I have received a copy in the post today and first impressions it is very good.

David's description is:

MIDLAND.MOG is the complete history of the bus garages, outstations, tram depots etc. of the Major Operators in the Midlands. It starts with the earliest horse bus workings, and runs through to 2017. On the way, it includes such gems as the Bishops Castle Railway and W T Underwood. It includes 700 MOGs from BMMO, BCT, WMPTE, TMT, PMT, Midland General, Barton, E Midland, Stevensons, Yeomans etc. MIDLAND.MOG has 72 A4 pages with 105 pictures, many in colour, dating from 1900 to 2010 and is Wire bound with acetate covers.

For your copy of MIDLAND.MOG send a £10 cheque payable to David Domin, to 17 Litherland Crescent, ST HELENS, Merseyside WA11 9AJ.

David has also produced 5 other MOG's of other parts of the country, see http://omnibus-society.org/publications (at the bottom of the page).
