Had a leaflet from NXWM pushed through my door today. Briefly describes the improvements to bus journey times thanks to the new bus lane and other improvements.

To try and tempt people to try the bus, there's an offer to buy a 5 day e-Daysaver SWIFT card for just £1 (normally £19). Which I don't think is a bad offer, but is no use to me as I have a monthly pass.

The catch is that the offer is only available to residents of the following postcodes: B25, B26, B33, B37, B91, B92 who are not existing SWIFT customers.

I haven't been down to Solihull on the 58 or 957 for a while, has any improvement actually been made? I only ask as the 957 in the morning (as well as the 900 to be honest) rarely seem to run to time towards city. Yet the 58 is usually near enough on time.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

I also got this. Quite surprised.

I think the E pass is a good idea but I just made a monthly pass yesterday  ::) . Unless I'm missing something, hasn't their been a bus lane on Lode Lane for a while now anyway ? Just surprised their advertising it now.
