Noted this operator has moved from Ahyno to a yard adjacent to Banbury station, and now have at least two Olympians.

However their bus routes are finishing on 15th October - a Tuesday.  Nothing on vosa to suggest that they have had their licence revoked.

Tex run the School Service that my Niece and Nephew travel on. My sister hasn't heard anything about them coming off this (Oxfordshire CC) contract, but apparently they regularly run late and the service is noticibly worse now than when it was run by previous operators

The Banbury Guardian website has this article confirming that local bus services finished on Tuesday 15 October: -

The Brackley express directly competed with Stagecoach 500, and the Banbury - Bicester route provided a more generous service than others has provided for many years.  Sadly I am not surprised the buses made a loss.

Tex Cars definitely still alive and kicking! They will be operating the Shuttles from Rail Stations to the Cornbury Festival this year. Have a feeling Stagecoach may have done this previously?

Good for Tex Cars.  The coach business has continued - only the local bus services ceased last year.  Stagecoach has run the Banbury - Cornbury Festival service before, but not Charlbury - Cornbury.

Still, it's something that bus services are being provided at all, given the festival's nickname of "Poshstock" thanks to the Chipping Norton set that normally attend.  Look at the website at http://www.cornburyfestival.com/info/ to find details of Glamping, Posh Loos and Trolley Hire!

Tex Coaches still have a "bus" in the shape of Bluebird N729 EOT noted in their yard by the railway station at Banbury this afternoon. Also seen were N117RJF,XIL8147 and L451PSX + 3 other uid vehicles. :o
