Can anybody list the latest starting bus services in the West Midlands?

In Wolverhampton I would say the 62/A possibly Mon-Sat

On a Sunday first 25 departs Wolverhampton at 11:25

This can include people listing the latest time a bus starts on a Sunday :)

There was a stop on Halgley Red just after Bearwood where the first NX Sunday 140 was just before midday before they took over the Diamond journeys.

Although still quite early compared to a lot of other routes that run Sundays, WN59 only starts at 08:50 (Compared to 05:00 Mon-Sat)

I think the 99 starts late, check the timetable

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Does this apply to Mon-Sat? Usually in the week the late starting services are the tendered and/or off peak routes

You ought to check out old 1970's & 1980's timetables.

Eg the old 319 in the 1980's(possibly 70's too?) didn't start until around 1330 on a Sunday & finished late, compared to the present day 19 which starts around 10am & finishes around 6pm!

(Is that worth another thread starting?)

The old 129 (Birmingham - Blackheath, via Five Ways, Portland Road, Smethwick Blue Gates, Tat Bank, Oldbury & Lion Farm) didn't start on Sundays until 1pm at one point
