Are they repairing 4050
The reason I ask its on the pits at accocks green garage
Surely it's not worth fixing due to the age of the bus
And the possible chance of been withdrawn very shortly

I do personally believe the Presidents will be safe for a few years yet, there are plenty of older single deckers still around to get withdrawn before the Presidents, plus the Spectras. Plus all were extensively refurbished around 4 to 5 years ago

Unless it could be used for spares? Obviosly depends on the extent of the fire damage
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

The fire on 4050 was generally confined to the engine compartment only, it will be the smoke damage internally & if the heat of the fire melted any electrics etc

I hope it does get fixed, it was a great bus, unlike 4075 which didn't sound very healthy, or very nice for that matter.
