Boxing Day and New Years Day services in Coventry

Boxing Day will be basically a Sunday service finishing in early evening, with the exception of no service on routes 11/12.
Timetables shown on NXC site include bus working numbers.

New Years Day will be a much reduced service from last year with only routes 4, 6/A, 7, 8/A, only 9, 11, 13, 16/A (Keresley to Stoke Aldermoor only), 20/A and 21 operating. The 13 and 21 interwork at Willenhall.

Service 11 to Leamington Spa and 12 Warwick Uni did run on Boxing Day until early evening. Timetable appeared on NXC website.

Vehicles used were similar to normal Sunday allocations with branded B7s used on 2,3,5,7 and 23.

Their information seems so messy with so many little asterisks. And the page with the 'special' timetables does not list  service 7.

Despite not being advertised on NXC or Travel West Midlands websites services WERE operated on services 2,3,5, 18 and 23 on New Years Day!

This New Years Day hopefully will be last one to see Mercedes running, on 4, 16/A and 18. They should be gone next year.

Hourly 11 to Leamington Spa interworked with hourly 9 to University Hospital, requiring three buses 4404, 4696 and 4889.
Hourly 9 to Green Lane interworked with hourly 5 to Arena requiring two buses 2156 and 2157.
13/21 combo was worked by collection of six unbranded double deckers 4410, 4452, 4695 ,4831, 4885 and 4886.
